Privacy Policy

This site and the El Taller service are operated by Laura Pardo, in Bogotá, Colombia, contact el-taller@tankmail.lat. Laura Pardo is the data controller for the personal data collected through this site and is the person you can write to about it. There is no other company or intermediary behind this page.

Only what you type into the interest form on this site:

• Your name, as you write it (up to 80 characters).
• Your email address.
• Optionally, the message describing what you would want first — for example catering for a gathering or frozen meals (up to 1,000 characters).

We also receive, together with the form, the address of the page the form was sent from. We do not ask for your phone number, your home address, your identity document or any payment data, and we do not collect them anywhere on this site.

We use your data for one purpose: to contact you about El Taller's at-home catering and frozen meals in Bogotá — the menus, the available dates and the prices when they are set — and to understand what interested people are asking for so we can prepare the right offer. The legal basis is the consent you give when you submit the form. We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling, and we do not send you advertising for other businesses.

Your submission is received by Laura Pardo. It is stored on the Tank platform (tankmail.lat), the service that hosts this site and holds the list of interested people on Laura Pardo's behalf as a data processor. Nobody else has access to it. We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We would only disclose it if a Colombian authority required it through a lawful order.

We keep your data while the list is active and El Taller is contacting the people on it, and for up to twenty-four months after your last contact with us. After that, or earlier if you ask us to delete it, it is removed. If you ask to be removed, we may keep a minimal record of your email address for the sole purpose of not writing to you again.

Under Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013, the Colombian personal data protection framework that applies to this site and to the people in Bogotá it is addressed to, you may at any time ask us to:

• know what data of yours we hold and how we are using it;
• update or correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your data and remove you from the list;
• withdraw the consent you gave when submitting the form;
• obtain a copy of the data you gave us.

Write to el-taller@tankmail.lat from the address you registered, saying what you want done. We answer requests to know your data within ten business days, and complaints or deletion requests within fifteen business days, as that framework requires. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio of Colombia.

Your submission travels to us over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to the list of interested people is limited to Laura Pardo through a password-protected account. We describe what we actually do and nothing more: no system is completely immune to incident, and if one ever affected your data we would write to you at the address you left and report it to the authority as the law requires.

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites. It carries no third-party advertising pixels.

This site is addressed to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18; if a minor's data reaches us, write to us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use data already given to us, we will write to the people on the list before applying it.
